A field around the corner from my house has a new master and his/her mate. They seem to be building a nest. These were taken with my XT sigma 70-200 and a sigma 1.4 program mode iso800 standing in the stree on one good leg and the other in a cast (Broken foot)

I am amazed how good that crop looks considering the high ISO ( 800) and the xt's reputation for being a 400 ISO and lower camera. A full shot poster should be quite possible with the original shot......very nice!

Actually the XT is reputed to have great ISO800 capabilities (quite similar to the 20D) and one should not shy away from using it when needed...I can personally attest to this myself;) .

That being said, I too am impressed with the clarity of the crop...surely a testament of how sharp you got this image to begin with.
