Hi! i'm not a photographer, i'm more of a graphic artist, just want to share this picture, it was taken on the bottom stairs of our house at early morning my baby just woke up and looking for his mom, the bag just happen to be there when my son sit there and started to cry..

To me they are either OOF or camera blur. They are dark but for me that seems to work with these shots. Too much crop on the top for me. They are very good in the moment shots. Welcome to the forum and look forward to seeing more posts.

I really wanted the background to be dark so that i could give more impact to his emotion and the bag. Am i doing it right?

Welcome to POTN. I like the motion blur in these, It adds to the feeling of the image for me. I agree with you about leaving the background so dark as well, but I also have a pretty bright monitor...
