Cool looking headphones.

The white in the pc's frame, directly behind the hp's is distracting and pulls the focus away from the phones, imo.

Sure...I used the Vintage Film action in Photoshop. After I applied the action to the photo, I adjusted the layers accordingly by changing the opacity or turning it off. After that, I just played around with curves. hope that helps

lol, thanks. :) I picked the camera up off of Craigslist and I was amazed that it was still on there after all these years. It also still has the protective plastic across the bottom of the camera, which is funny because the black is rubbed off on the corners from heavy use. :)

Just make sure you desaturate and invert it first so we know it was taken with a Nikon. :p

This lens is ideal for full frame. I use it on my 5Dc and am glad I didn't splurge on the L instead. Your only worry will be getting a good copy. So I'd try one out in store if possible, or order two and return one if buying online.

Are the copy variations that bad? I havent heard of many copy variations with tamron. The focus is definitely iffy since it wont work with FOCAL software, but I find that with real world use, this lens is extremely impressive. If only it would cover the 24mm and drop some of the telephoto to retain the size (the brick is like a wrecking machine, it destroys what it hits when it swings around), it would be the perfect lens for a non pro. I use the L, but didnt have any issues with this lens. The price for this lens is a no brainer if you've got full frame. On a crop, it's not nearly wide enough, but fantastic as a portrait/sport lens.

I use the L, but didnt have any issues with this lens. The price for this lens is a no brainer if you've got full frame. On a crop, it's not nearly wide enough, but fantastic as a portrait/sport lens.

I can only say that I ordered 2 just to be careful. One was perfect, the other had bad focusing. Just my personal experience, so YMMV.

Are the copy variations that bad? I havent heard of many copy variations with tamron. The focus is definitely iffy since it wont work with FOCAL software, but I find that with real world use, this lens is extremely impressive. If only it would cover the 24mm and drop some of the telephoto to retain the size (the brick is like a wrecking machine, it destroys what it hits when it swings around), it would be the perfect lens for a non pro. I wouldn't say it's that great a sports lens, the AF is too slow. This is a great budget lens, but f I had more use for a general zoom I'd go back to the 24-70L without hesitation.

I had to try three before I got a good one (all were sharp, but the first two had serious AF issues). The one I have now is really sharp at all focal lengths and apertures, but for our recent trip I realized that 28mm isn't wide enough for me, while 24mm is (barely). So, I bought 24-105L to avoid having to bring a separate wide angle lens and that worked out really well. This means that I will sell the Tamron, but I'll miss its light weight and small size.

Drove on 27km of dirt road to get here. Went to the base of the falls but there was way to much spray from the waterfall I decided to not risk getting my 5D too wet.

Ellenboroughs a nice fall but very unforgiving when photographing. Had to settle for this shot.

WOW just got this lens in today and upon initial observations its pretty darn sharp. It's better than the Canon 24-105L easily that's for sure.

I have just underwent lots of lens changing, since getting the 5D II and 'kit lens'. Got rid of the 28mm f/1.8 and just sold the 85mm f/1.8. I am thinking of selling the 50mm f/1.4 and getting this lens, having a 'perfect trio' for what works for me....

I think so. At least that's my first impressions. I never really Felt the 24-105L deserved the "L" category and price tag.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing at F-2.8 @ 28mm it's pretty noticeable...still looks like a nice lens for portraits. I think this may be my next purchase...or the 100mm 2.8 macro, decisions decisions!

The AF on this lens is plenty fast enough for motorsports panning. My only gripe is my copy is super soft at 2.8 ..
