Hello,

I did not realise this forum was going to take up some much of my time, I seem to be on here all the time now! :)

This is a shot which did not show a lot of promise in the original but with some cropping and the application of a filter, I like the result. Thanks to Paul for the prompting.

What do you think?

Suzie.

It reminds me of an Impressionist painting.

Excellent.

This is a lovely image, Suzie, very pleasant and restful. What filter did you use to get this effect?

peter

Hi Peter,

For this I used the program "ACD See" and applied the "Rough Pastels" filter.

Suzie.

Excellent. It's very interactive, no definite subject (other than "beach scene",) yet there are a number of things for my eyes to grab onto. Good crop, good effect.
