Image Ready animation

I haven't used IR for a few years, but I've got a 4 layer psd & want to make an animated gif from it & don't remember how to convert it. Can someone post a link please? The NoHelp file seems to have left that part out. ;)

1. Open your PSD file in PS, then click on File > Edit in Image Ready.

2. In IR, open up the Animation palette if it isn't already. Window > Animation.
Open the Layers paletter, too. Window > Layers.

3. If there isn't already an open frame in the Animation palette, click on the arrow on the upper right hand corner of the window and click on New Frame.

4. With the 1st frame selected, go to the Layers palette and make all the layers invisible except for the layer (or layers) you want to use for the 1st frame.

5. Set the duration of the frame by clicking on the duration time at the bottom of the selected frame in the Animation palette.

6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each layer you have or number of frames you want to create.

7. Click on the Play button on the Animation palette to see the animation in action.

8. Click on the Stop button to stop the animation and do something else.

9. Save the animation as a GIF file.

I think I have everything covered. If not, just holler! :)

Steps 3-5 were the key. Problem was I didn't want a "New" frame, I wanted "That" frame! ;)
If I were to add anything to your steps it would be, "...File> Save Optimised as a .gif" to Step 9.

You're right, Frank, save the GIF file as optimized. Thanks for pointing that out. I wrote the instruction steps from memory so i missed that.
