Was thinking of a Bogen 233B that would seem to accomodate a 10D. Has anyone used this bracket? I'm using a 420ex with off-shoe cord 2. Looking for a good, versitile bracket for event portrait photography (i.e. parties/weddings/etc)
any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Solid as the come plus will allow you to shift to vertical and
swing the flash head directly above/middle of lens instead of
to the side as most.

Newton--it is the best that I've ever seen. VERY well built, very easy to use and very rugged. The down side, about $100 more than anything else.
I "think" that the site is newton.com, and I know that he sells though B&H
