Hi!

I found D30 for 1844 on "http://www.familyphotoandvideo.com"
They rating on "http://www.resellerratings.com/" is 5.9/7.0, which is OK.
Is it gray market? (I think yes - no microdrive rebate).
Is it good idea to buy through them?
What do you think?

ivan...

DO trust...you will NOT get a D-30 for $1844 by the time you are billed...there are precious few comments for family photo which is what gives them the "higher" rating...as with all of these companies that advertise low prices...you will NEVER receive a quality piece of merchandise...i was very fortunate to pay $2240 for my D-30 from d-buys.com (i DO NOT recommend them...more nyc shysters) deltainternational has a nicely priced grey market d-30 for $2050 and they are just as reputable as b&h photo as far as i'm concerned...)

so the decision is yours...deal with places like family photo who use bait and switch, incomplete kits, opened/damaged boxes and inflated shipping/accesory prices (you'll end up paying over $2000 and keep in mind that family is the same company as abe's of maine if you need to know...and they all use the same bait and switch practices) OR...just go with a reputable company...pay the price...and get what you paid for...

like i said...i speak from exprience...

the best (but most expensive) teacher...
