Nothing special or fancy, but a couple shots I took today at work.

90.3 cubic feet.

We are currently doing extensive work on the firebox, and other parts of the locomotive before our 'North Pole Express' trips this winter (thus why you see a hole cut in the thermic syphon, and several staybolts missing)

Here is a picture of it in December of '05

And just another random image from work...

Spot-welding some jacketing for one of our smaller locomotives.

If you are curious as to what else we have, our web page is http://www.mstrp.com

Wehave three steam loco's (soon to be 5 if everything goes as planned), along with a lot of other rail equipment, including a pullman private car built in the late 1800's that is in MINT condition.

And if anyone is wondering how you get in and out of the firebox, here you go:

WOW! I had no idea the fire box in one of those steam locos was that big, until I saw your second shot with the guys inside.

ACK!

I remember them from the 50's and 60's, too :)

Nice pice - I have never seen in a firebox before - I was opening this thread expecting the obvious - flames and stuff - and was wondering how you may have taken a well exposed pic of all that light. This was totally unexpected and delightful. Thanks for sharing.
