Hey Nils, any 10D regrets?

Hi Nils,

As a current G3 and now 10D owner (being shipped), I am curious if you have had any regrets on the upgrade?

Did you get the 100-400 lens yet. I opted for the 70-200 (non IS), a 50/1.4 and the 1.4X I suppose that I should wait on a wide angle until I actually get the camera.

My biggest issue with the G3 was the slow focus.

YES!!! I LOVE IT!!!! YES I GOT THE 100-400 L IS YESTERDAY HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SHOOT WITH IT YET...I LOVE THE 10D.

Hi Nils,

Thanks for making me feel better about my lighter wallet.
Bobman, I bought the G3 after my nikon 900 (early 1.3MP) died. I was extremely impressed by the photos that this camera could take.
Unfortunately, after adding on zoom extenders, etc... I decided that what I really wanted was a SLR again. I had dumped my Canon A1 when I had my first child (14 yrs ago) and went to a decent PS camera. I was never happy with the pictures. Now I am again excited about photography and really enjoy playing with the images on the computer.

I am very excited about getting the 10D and the really nice lens. Of course, my photo abilities will have to grow into this camera.
