What is the best method of removing flash reflections (white spots due to flash)? I tried to do this in photoshop with clone stamp tool, but I could not get even, naturaly looking surface. It was looking like a bad paint job.
Thanks

A couple of tricks I use, that may work for you.
I sometimes start by using magic wand on the lighter areas and then change the contrast to a nuetral background denisity seperate from the background. This is mainly to cover any little spots I might miss.
Then I use the cloning tool as needed
and finally I finish up with the healing tool on the edges and out of place areas. gross changes at 100% and subtle at 50% (or less) to get. The percentage is one of the setting at the top, but I can't remember right now what it is for except maybe transparency.
Just what I have done, seems to work most, but not all, the time. Sometimes nothing will help.

Have you tried a bounce flash? I recently bought a Canon Speedlite 420EX flash for my Pro90 and my flash problems are over. It's simple to use and powerful... a great addition to the camera bag.

Thanks for suggestions. The heal tool does make a difference. And regarding an external flash - yes, I will buy one day. So far, I got a tripod, and I am trying to minimize the use of the built in flash.
