They keep them pretty polished, don't they? The location is the Farallon Islands off the coast of San Francisco.

They keep them that clean and polished to prevent corrosion... Salt air sucks!
Great range of colors in that shot, makes it much more pleasing then just a blue sky, great job!

Thanks for the comments. As an ex-Navy guy I suspect the cleaning and polishing serves more than just one function------what better way to keep the new guys busy? But I appreciate squared away machinery. Here's another one of it on the ground.
