Bracketing Question

Man im on a roll today with questions.

i have noticed on my 10D that whenever i set exposure bracketing or flash bracketing that it does not take 3 pictures with one shot, or even 3 in a row, but i actually have to fire 3 shots in a row manually. is this correct? the manual says it takes three pictures, with one shot. unless i mis-understood the manual.

any idears!

Read the manual. First, identify which mode you are in, like "green box", Tv, Av, etc. Identify which drive mode you are in, like single shot.

Then state what you mean by three pictures with one shot. Do you mean three stored images with one press of the shutter button?

You misunderstood the manual. You have to press the shutter three times, or have the camera set to continuous mode and hold the shutter down long enough for 3 shots. But the camera will carry on taking shots as long as you keep your finger on the button, not stop after 3.
