For mallard shots these are great! Nice job of catching them in flight.

the second one in particular works for me,,,,that is a big lens. I was with a photographer a few weeks ago shooting a Great Gray Owl and he was hand holding that lens and I was amazed that that was possible considering the size.

The second one reminds me of Hilda Ogdens living room in Coronation Street ;-)

i have only had the lens about 2 weeks and asked on here if it was posible to hand hold, IT IS just dont try to hold it up longer than about 45sec all my shots are hand held and im not a big bloke,i will get a monopod for non flying shots as that seems a good ider saves putting it down in the mud.

Very nice! I like the second one, nice group and all in focus.

I did some Duck shooting today too, nothing much else going on here right now. It's good target practice for the coming spring if nothing else. :)

Amazing shots, especially #2. And thanks for posting the EXIF. But was that really at 1/200 sec? Or 1/2000?

As with everyone else.....# 2 is a real winner. Clear & Sharp. Nice composition, great grouping.
I can ONLY dream of this lens...:p
But I hear Dreams CAN come true; if you REALLY believe.
