I didnt think to ask beforehand, but just ordered the 2x BP511A batteries directly from Sterlingtek's webpage, and was curious what peoples experiences, if any, were with this?
Thanks. :)
Jeff
Well, checked resellerratings like I should have originally, looks like they are reputable and people have had excellent experiences dealing with them. :)

I own 4 Sterlingteks and 2 Canons. I have no complaints with either, except that Canon BP511A's cost 6 times as much as Sterlingteks! :)

I've bought 4 replacements for my 20D, and one for my Canon Camcorder. Not only were their batters cheaper than the Canon versions, but they also last longer !! I'm thinking of making another order to pick up their dual charger. Have confidence, they are a legit shop.

Checking the sticky thread at the top of this forum regarding batteries, or by doing a seach on Sterlingtek, you will find that they are clear and away the preferred aftermarket supplier of BP511 clones.

I have two of their 1800mAh batteries in my camera right now and they're as good as batteries get. :D

Not only cheap, but they come quickly too. After joining the forum, I read about the batteries. I bought the 20D and the same week ordered the Sterlingtek batteries. I prefer them to the 2 Canon ones I have. They charge great and last longer. For 1/4 the price, a bargain!

Well, I know the batteries are great, I was more curious about actually ordering from www.sterlingtek.com, but apparently people have had good experiences with them. :) I just wasnt sure if they were on the ball and I'd have my batteries in a few days, or if I'd end up waiting 2 weeks for them.

Sterlingtek is becoming the 'de facto' place to order replacement digital camera batteries - no need to worry about ordering from them.

I ordered batteries from Sterlingtek last weekend. I got a call Monday saying that the USB cable that I ordered was on backorder. I asked if they could go ahead and ship out the batteries. I was surprised when I got the batteries and a charger the very next day.
I charged them up, put them in the camera, and so far, no problems.

Good company.
I ordered batteries for my XT. They've been wonderful and last longer than the canons.

Yea... this is one thing that disappointed me a little. I guess we cannot complain since the batteries are so cheap. Maybe that is why the cost for the Canon batteries are so expensive... the covers.

Slight hijack... Are the SterlingTek chargers any good? For $15, it would be great to have the ability to charge batteries in the car.
