Hello. I have a LOT of pictures on my website and I am looking for a better way to display them. I have a simple frames setup now but would like a method with more flare. Have a look and tell me what you think I should do.

Thanks in advance,

My host adres is hostaces.nl look how fast it runs.
The program i used for the frames is made by a good friend of my.
The program names photo upper and works friendly and good.

You made nice pics too i saw.

How about starting with a new host server?

I didn't care for the fact that the host changed my homepage setting on my IE program. That's B.S. I never got your page to load correctly either.

You might want to try some other forums on the web about web page design.

Look at Gallery. I know it can hold a good deal of pictures. My own gallery is over 1200 photos in size.

http://gallery.sourceforge.net

You can see mine at:

http://eo.dyndns.info/gallery/

Mine is pretty stock and I am hoping to do some mods to it to personalize it more. It works for now though... The only major mod I want to get done is to have the EXIF or IPTC data automatically extracted into the Keywords and Description fields.

The one thing that I find is that your file name is drawing the eye before you even see the image. Any way that you could use a smaller font on the file name.

There are lots of great sites out there. You just have to browse them and bring in the certain things that you like about each one.

I have hired a friend of my son to start and work on my site. I'm in no big rush (mostly because he is working for free and beer) to finish this.

Best of luck on yours

Ted,
Why dont you try Jalbum.

I have made a temporary gallery at http://www.karmakars.com/photography/gallery/daisies/

You can customise virtually EVERYTHING and its FREE for crying out loud.

on the gallery page you will find a link to Jalbum and can download the software too.

Hope this helps.
