S2 and macro

Why don't u get a DSLR camera? Kinda of regret buying this S2. DSLR cam holds more function than compact cam.

thing is, i'm really happy with my s1. but the functions on the s3 are better.

i was thinking of going for the 350D, but apparently i would have to pay sooo much more, to get the optical zoom that i have now??

I recently added the 350D to the arsenal, but figure to keep the S2 for macro work. I like it that much.

As much as I like my S2, I wish that I had something a lot smaller. Since I plan on purchasing an SLR, it would have been nice to have something I can just keep in my pocket, or my wife's purse. But yes, I think the macro - and supermacro - are very good.

I was amazed at the Macro function with this camera. I took the shot hand-held. My wife bought these M&Ms for me as a Valentine's gift. The name is for our competition bbq team. I would love to try some shots with a tri-pod but I haven't had the chance.
