I liked the colors of this boat against the incredibly blue water of the Caribbean. C&C appreciated!

Neat shot, Becca. I like the colors, too, but the different perspective is what does it for me.

Lovely shot Becca. I've had a little play and did the following:
Cropped the image (partly to remove the wire, and partly for the shape).
Adjusted the levels - white slider reduced to maximise the histogram, and increased the midtones slightly.
Slight saturation boost (+15).

Yeap,i see what you saw in that shot Rebecca, nice one.
I take it they put some kind of cover on that sort of pergola ting there for sun protection?

Thanks for the nice comments!
John, I like what you did. Thanks!
Dimitri, I have no idea what the "pergola" thing is for. It wasn't attached to the boat, but maybe its like a "boat garage" that they can cover when they get a storm.

Har de,
Having been to St Lucia and stood by the sea on a windy day... Cousin here thinks the locals would be crazy to put any cover over that boat.
Just think of a parachute on a windy day 20 feet from the ocean... it would be shredded and laying in someones garden in no time.
It could be a large bird deterrent (Pelican) as they tend to sit in the boats and make a mess with their corrosive droppings. Large birds will fly into a boat, they won't land, walk up to it and jump in, they need a clear flight path in and out.
Just some thoughts from a former bird geek.
Cuz... who still likes burds.

Great shot.. I love it. Very well done!
The wind comments are on target.. remind me to take shots of the next hurricane that comes thru here.. LOL
I believe it is a rack used for drying fishing nets. You see them all over the place down in the Caribbean.

Thanks Sandy!
Richard, I'm glad the whole mystery about the rack had finally been solved! I never thought to ask! And thanks for the nice comments.
