Here is a shot I am quiet proud of, taken last Friday Evening.
Its lambeth bridge London in Inger-land from the South side of the river
I shot in RAW and converted to B/W then added some photoshop effects to give it the old time feel I was looking for.

That is a nice shot.
I am over in London on Wednesday and Thursday.
Going to bring my G2 with me and get a few shots (can't be bothered brining the 300D and lenses.

Nice effect. What sort of PP did you use to get it?

Well I will try to tell you how I did it but when I am playing with settings and controls its so difficult to remember exactly what you did but...
I Know I used Channel mixer to convert to B/W then adjust the sliders to bring up the white lamps on the bridge ( I wanted to give them a blown look) Honest! then I used a wonderfull program called Virtual Photographer http://www.optikvervelabs.com/ and used the "Glamour" option to make it a bit dreamy. Thats it really. I think it worked ok.
Here is the original untouched photo.
