I went along to the Arena Essex Hammers Speedway Teams press day today at Upton Park (home of West Ham United), great day, really enjoyed it but was a bit out of my depth lol - Good to meet gmen again as well as the other togs.

absolutely... the local paper want me to cover speedway during the closed football season so this was the start of it... thanks.

Well... since I've already hijacked the thread - hope you don't mind if I add a few more images Spencer. Here's a bit of action from Wednesday. I was trying hard to find some clean backgrounds... the stepladders came in handy to eliminate the barrier from the shots:

lol, yep... you may call me sex god. BTW im coming down to wales in a few days, a friend and i are taking some shots of mumbles and gower area, staying in swansea city centre, may go along to plantasia with the macro as well ;)

Yep, It came back yesterday, they turned it around next day! and they are also going to refund the 20 quid it cost me to send it back, the everyday focusing noise of the motor actually sounds louder than the last one (maybe im imagining it) but the squeek has gone, cant ask for more than that i guess... thanks for the kind comments btw... unless you mean dangerous as in turning around and smacking someone on the head with it! ;)

Im about 2 miles from mumbles at the moment, my girlfriend lives here. ill be going home tomorrow though. I will be down cardiff on sunday, trying to take some shots of the rugby fans and the occasional drunk.
I havent been to plantasia for a good couple of years, so i cant give you any advice.
P.S No you cant stay at my girlfriends house

Hi, Great shots, Where's the best arenas in kent and surrounding areas to get pictures as good as this, what lense sizes work best taking into account distance of spectators from riders.
