View Full Version : Anyone in the US covering the Star Mazda series?

A friend of mine is racing in the Star Mazda series this year and I am looking for a professional photogrpaher that covers this series (or even some of it) to help me out with a couple of assignments. Anyone?

Your post got buried in the noise, so sorry for the dealy in picking it up.

Make a note to try and get some shots of Andrew Bentley please. He is a Brit who ran in the Formula Ford championship here that is doing a season in the Star mazda series. The last pictures I took of Andrew were when he slammed his car into the barrier at Brands Hatch and it disintegrated around him. It would be nice to see him in the new series. I may end up going to Road Atlanta on assignment if all else fails.

It is hard getting hold of anyone in the US that covers track events as most seem to prefer ovals. Don't know why, having shot at ovals in the US myself and found it disappointing from a photographer's point-of-view.

different countries tastes? not everyone likes *ovals* ... I myself prefer endurance car racing (alms, grand american, etc)

I'll be at the events on the ALMS schedule .... what do you need? I cover all ALMS, SPEED World Challenge events here in the states for the last several years.
