Pekka's 10D Actions

I recently saw a link to Pekka's 10D actions. I tried a 'search' here but failed to find an answer to the following question:
Can anyone summarize what these actions can do?

I just needed a summary of what they do.

I'm having trouble opening this file after I unzip it. It says that it should be opened by Photoshop but I've had no luck.

Any suggestions

1. Run PhotoShop.

2. In the History/Actions/Tool Presets window (underneath the color swatches window), click on the Actions tab.

3. At the top right of that window below the X is a little circle with a triangle on it. Click on it.

4. From the menu that pops up, click on Load Actions

5. Point to where the action file resides, select the action file, and click the Load button.

That's it!

This file is a zip file. Extract the .atm file to your adobe preset/action folder. then load as above.

But what exactly do they do?

If you load it, the descriptions show what they do. it's sharpening, saturation, brightness etc..

Don't have it tried in elements. Just try it..
