Hi there,
Before I go out and buy a Photography book (such as 'Digital Photography by Karin Eismann') I am looking to get a book specific to the EOS20D, to help me learn as I go along...
This book (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1579906923/202-5461996-6178264) is the only one I can find on the subject, does anyone else have any others they can recomend?
Thanks
Amnesia
p.s: I am coming from a TOTALLY amateur background, so much so - this is my first DSLR (or SLR for that matter)

Here are 2 more:
1. A Short Course in Canon EOS 20D Photography

2. If you do not mind reading a ebook, you may also consider the DSLR Canon EOS 20D by Peter iNova:

I have read both the "Magic Lantern Guide" and "DSLR Canon EOS 20D", I personally prefer the later one.

You can always print an ebook can't you?
Well, seen as you have read both. I think I will go for the eBook as you recomend :)

Okay, after many hours last night searching, I can't find this eBook anywhere?
Does anyone have the CDRom they would let me buy from them?

I think I may get it....
Did you start as a complete newbie?
How far has it taken you on your "travel".
Does it also explain WHY things happen and not just HOW to do it.
Thanks

AmnesiaI started as an SLR newbie and the Magic Lantern Guide has been very helpful. I have really taught myself D-SLR photography with a combination of the Magic Lantern book, the manual that came with the camera and this website. The book goes into much more detail than the camera's manual. The book does not always say why things happen but it does tell how everything is supposed to work. I hope that this helps.
