I lent my camera out to my sister yesterday because she wanted to take photos of butterflys. Camera is EOS20D + sigma 18 - 125 DC

Simon, looks like your sister may just get hooked... those are nice pics.

Where were these taken? So many species in one afternoon... and I have a difficult time finding them in my backyard!

Edit: Thames Butterfly House -- I went there with the kids one time but my camera fogged up the whole time!!! Then again, it was the middle of winter... and coming from 10 deg. C into the 30 deg. C hothouse made things really bad.

told her that she can borrow my camera anytime she likes as long as she buys me the sigma 70 - 200 f/2.8 :)


the scary thing is that so far she has got the best out of this lens
