Hi all,
Just got back from Henry's in Ottawa and picked up the 30d (i was the 1st one to pick it up!).
from a rebel XT to a new 30d, first impressions:
1-The screen is the first thing that got my attn...very large and clear
2-Viewfinder seems bigger...
3-Shutter noise not an issue (and I shoot birds)
4-Feels just nice in my hands, more comfortable with the 100-400 than it was with the XT
5-5fps is mindblowing!
6-Controls are a sinch with the wheel and ISO changes are sweet!
7-Oh, did I say you might need sunglasses to protect your eyes from that bright screen!
Now, must read the manual and take shots at lunch. Will post pics tomorrow.
