I was cautioned about possible damage to my 10D because of the HIGH "trigger" voltage presented by the 200 & 400B flash units. I wrote to Canon regarding this issue and they suggested some type of "safe Sync" device. I use these flashes primarily to photograph auto racing. IF ANYONE out there could suggest where I might find such a "device" I would greatly appreciate the info.
Thanks to ALL.

Have a look on the web for "Wein safe sync". Wein make devices that will lower voltages to safe levels.
Usually as a hot shoe attachment but you can also get inline PC to PC cables as well.
Cheers
