I love the fact that everyone is a critic and a photographer. Most places juts say "you shot suck" or "nice try".

Very cool image :)
What I like about the image is the mood and that you've had a great eye for the opportunity, I mean many would've walked past and missed the reflections on the water.
I'd suggest you tried different angles though. I think there are too many elements in that picture, I find that thing right behind the ladder-like-thingy to be "extra" and a bit distracting, but then again, I'm a friend of (over?)simplification :). I feel as a viewer that you were concentrating on that ladder-thingy and the tree, and forgot about that other thingy (Aarrrgh, this is hard to explain :D).
You might also want to remove that dust spot at the top.
Welcome to POTN :)

Great shot. Good composition, neat reflection. Good eye. Welcome to the forum. You'll love it here, only good criticism and lots of kudos.

Incredible, at least.
If I had to give some critiuqe:
1) Dust spot up by the tree, clone out (or get out by some other means of doing so)
2) Try cropping that light on the far far left out, There's just a little space between the pole, and the edge of the image, which kinda pulled to my eye. Try and see, I suppose.

I really like the mood of the shot, but maybe straightening the horizon could help. Everything is sloping left to right at the moment. If thats what you intended though, forget i said anything.

Quite an interesting photo there, Switzer. Do you mind if I have a go at editing it?
