Number two is an awesome shot....the first one would be better with a different head tilt, in my opinion.
good job

I love the first shot. The white brick makes a nice background. I could be wrong because right now I am on a laptop, but I *think* I see a color cast in the whites of her eyes.
Love the shadows and light in #2. Her eyes really grab me too.
I also like the poses and the outfit background combo in 3&4.
Great job!

I like that 1 & 5 the best in my opinion. Number one pours with emotion (for me anyway) and number 5 is different with a clockwork orange kind of twist.
Number 2 is lovely also, actually they are all beautiful, 1 & 5 being my favs.

Absolutely love #1 and #2. I feel that the background is competing for the viewer's attention in #3 even though #4 and #5 with the same background don't feel that way...

Thank you all for your kind words. I think there is a little colour cast in the eyes, in 1. I'll try and fix that.
I also agree that the background is just a tad too strong in three and four, It works a little better in five because its slightly desaturated. The original idea with three and four was to have it brighter towards the top, falling into shadow lower down, hopefully creating the effect that she was somehow linked if not connected to the door. Brown dress, brown door. This didn't work well though and we just shot it staright. I'll find the girl in door shot and show you what I tried.
Thanks again.

I should say that technically the first shot is great but the expression of the model is too bland and fails to communicate anything but boredom. Maybe a smile or an angry face ...

Well I guess I should say, that the models shooting for beauty etc don't like to smile and look angry...It creases the skin, brings out the bags, shows toothy grins etc etc. I'm sure if these were character shots we'd have gone all errr... charactery, but theyre not.
