The top half is amazing. The bottom is very busy. I can't figure out why but for some reason it bothers me.

The Establishment ... emmmm ... what a choice, but I don't think my pocket is deep enough for the price tag, unless they serve a dish with a TS-E 24mm on it for £500

Mills, I'm not sure if I understood what you meant by "busy" .. messy may be?

I wondered why at first as well. There looked to be a plaid pattern going across the lower section...then I realized it was a fence. The fence is causing the distraction.

Just WOW...

really need to get better at pp...hard to find a way to learn though....so much info on the net and most all of it is geared to NOT noob's....

Have any of you tried the tutorial CD's?

Thanks for pointing out, now it makes a lot more sense ... guess I'll just have to wait for all them clouds to come back before I can re-capture that again :p

superdiver, I just like you who doesn't know enough about pp yet have a lot to learn, this is actually very simple to do, I just played with settings a bit then mess around till I'm happy with the look. I've never used any tutorials of any kind, mostly just trial n error

:)

Good luck with that. I had some perfect lighting yesterday with some terrific fluffy white clouds against a rich blue background, and I screwed up a ton of shots by not realizing I had the ISO set incorrectly. Now I just have to wait for another day like that and try to get out at the same time of the day as well.

Too bad you didn't have something to stand on to put you higher than that fence. After seeing the original picture and how dark the buildings were, I like how you were able to lighten them up. Although a bit too blue for reality, they ARE appealing to the eye. :)

Next time I'll just make my way into the car park, that way it'll be no fences :)

The fence was distracting. Part of the scene though.

I guess if fence is too distracting for some of you in this shot, then the original should do just fine :)

Hey Gu mate, how's it going?

Nice processing on that if i may say so :) Where abouts was this shot taken? My mind can't compute where you were stood lol.

If you could post the original it'd make an interesting comparison too :)

Tom.

Alright mate?

I was standing right in front of my apartment building actually, near tobacco factory, on the pavement, nothing fancy.
