I generally post in travel and landscapes, but i have a few shots that would be classed as urban photography. Ill start off with one from Australia, when i was there a little while ago, and another from Glasgow, where i currently reside. The brisbane shot shows a tower next to the river side, not sure what its called though. The second is the Glasgow tower, with the Imax theatre making up the foreground.
All comments and critiques would be much appreciated.

Have you posted that second picture before? I know I've seen it...it was in a post with a couple of different shots and the poster was asking for advice on which one was preferred (IIRC). Was that you?
Either way...nice pics! I really like the first one.

That was indeed me. I think i posted it int the C+C section, either that or landscapes. I was putting it in a calender and was choosing between two different versions. This was the one i chose.

Yes and no. I used the tokina for the glasgow shot, but in australia i was still using a 300D and the kit lens.

Thanks. I just wish i had the chance to stay there a bit longer. It was such a photogenic place. I was only staying with a friend of mine for a few days and only went into the town a couple of times. If you ever go to the market down there on a sunday morning keep and eye out for Darren Jews stand, thats my mate i was staying with and he's got some awesome photography on his stall.
