V8 Supercar Testday - Queensland Raceway

I got out to the track today for a V8Supercar test day. It was a test day for me also, testing out the new 1DMk2. Photos where taken with 300 f/2.8 with 2x, 70-200 and 16-35.

It was a really a good test day. Lots of teams and cars on track.

Unfortunately Queensland Raceway is one of the worst race tracks in Australia for taking photos. The track is flatter than a tennis court and drier then the Australian outback.

I really like #3 a lot. I think a bit of motion blur would have added to it though

I loved them all....except the silouette one. You can see a bit too much of the decals for me personally, it just appears to be underexposed to my simple eyes.

I can't put my finger on why, but #2 really appeals to me!

I love these! I like the tilt, I've often tried this myself but thought they just looked 'wonky' - any tips?

#2 is fantastic, what was the technique? Any PP? It looks like a toy car. I would love to get my hands on a copy large enough to use as my desktop, is that too much to ask? :D

#2 was an amazing shot the composition is fantastic. best motorsports photography ive seen on her yet keep up the good work

Nice pics. Not too keen on the dark one but the rest are good. Nice angles.

Photo two was taken at 200mm with an aperture of 2.8. I did use auto contrast on this shot.
