Hi,
I will be getting my first digital camera tomorrow, the A70. I am going to get a 128MG card but should i go for the cheapest i can find or stick with Lexar/sandisk/fuji. Do th better cards improve performance?
Cheers

If u wanna know in detail about cards GO HERE! (http://www.dpreview.com/articles/mediacompare/)
From what ive learned from here, unless u have a top end camera, the speed wont make a difference.
I though if it was slow, it would be a slower write, and a faster card would be noticable, guess not though.
Have heard bad things about scandisk normal. People getting alot of curupted images, so i stuck with a faster card to avoid this. Dont know if its the solution but my card worked so i was happy with it, was a transcend 256.
If u have a USB2 reader u will notice the difference, but i have a 1 port on the back so it wont make a difference for me.
Nice choice on the camera btw http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smile4.gif
