Integrating EE into current web design

Hi,

First, I am sorry if this has been asked before, I have looked back through the forum and couldn't see anything...

Is it possible to apply my own style/design to the EE front end. I have just finished my website design ( www.richardlindley.co.uk ) and would like to use EE for my gallery, but I want to display my images on a page that continues my current design theme.
If this is posible could you provide a few pointers for me - bear in mind that today is my second day of playing with php ;)

Yes it is perfectly possible.
I didn't know any php and I managed.
It isn't easy with no knowledge but it can be done.

There are however many places to change things and it's very easy to bugger it up, so I suggest changing one thing at a time and making a note and testing it.

Like all good programmers I didn't keep any notes though (doh)
