View Full Version : Optimize for web or for accuracy?

When I'm using photoshop, the colors look just right whereas the colors on IE or FF lose the red and the tint is more greenish. For example, this photo is colder on the web browser than PS. I assume this is just a lack of calibration for web browsers.

Most people look at images through the browsers, so do you push certain colors on the photos to look better for web, or keep the colors that look good in PS? Or is there a way to make them look right in both?

PS. This is really dumb one, but how can I get the image to display in-line? I can't get the IMG tag to work.

If you are presenting the image on the web, then you should optimize for the web - use sRGB.
