this is another shot taken from the same spot as in this (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=148469) one, I just turned around, that's all.

And I think this looks much more like a painting than previous one, what do you think?

Very cool!

So TS is like a lensbaby?

More like a Lensbaby is an impercise Tilt Shift Lens (TS-E).

Okay, but how can a title shift lens cause such an effect? I thought it would give sharpness throughout the shot? Or did he use a really wide aperture? Or move the camera during the shot?

We'll have to wait for sGu to respond. I'm thinking a tilt on the horizontal axis was necessary for this shot.

Hi Sarah, you're on the right track.

I shot this using the tilt only. What it does is simply change the angle of focus panel so it no longer stays parallel with the sensor which images would be then projected onto. Also be keep the aperture open wide, it would give image a very blurred look apart from the focused area.

You can also rotate the lens so the focus panel moves up n down instead of left to right.
