Im new to the digital relm. Heck Im new to photos in general. Anyways, can someone give me advice on my gallery. It just seems something is missing in a lot of the picks. Picks taken with a canon a60 & canon a70
Used photoshop only for resize and unsharp mask.

I think that you have a lot of great shots.

You post what turns you on ! Howver, if you post individual shots on this forum, it helps to let members know why you made the shot, etc.

The only comment that I would make is that a few shots are underexposed. You need to brigten the dog shots and the covered bridge somehow.

Whay not post a single shot and ask members for a critique ?

OK there is one. This was taken before I had a set of filters and a tripod. It looks great printed out. The white sky isnt too bad when printed, but on a monitor the whites are really bright.

The pick was taken at the Water Gardens in Fort Worth, Texas.

The very small water fall just grabbed me.....

I would recommend raising the shutterspeed or Fstop value a bit because the photo seems a bit over exposed. Other than that, good composition.

Shabookie: Your comment concerning the mis-match between what you see on your monitor and what you see on your print suggest you should calibrate your monitor. You might find some suggestions on this forum by searching for keyword "calibration." You will find this qualifies as one of the best "upgrades" you can do to your photographic system.
