Hello all,

If you have a 16-35mm 2.8 and the 24-70mm 2.8 L lenses do you really need to have the 70-200mm 2.8 lens if you want to be able to shoot weddings?

How many of you have done indoor events where you found that having the 70-200mm f2.8 was a necessity. Or do you think both lenses mentioned above should do fine.

Secondly have you ever done a wedding with the Canon 70-200mm f4L?

Your thoughts please
Gracias~

I love using my old 80-200/2.8 L outdoors for some lovely portrait shots (nothing beats the DOF on that lens). Indoors I mostly use my old 20-35/2.8 L and my Tamron 28-75/2.8.

I always pick up the 70-200 to get shots of guests on the dance floor - you stand near a wall and shoot away and get true photojournalistic shots - the people don't even know you're there! :) Also great for park use to blur the scenery as CyberPet said.
