I am a relatively new D-30 user and I am slowly getting the hang of things although I am not completely satisfied with the quality of pictures at this point. I need some explanation on all of the profiles out there. My problem has been visible noise when enlarging to
16x20 and sometimes smaller prints. Color balance and white balance is inconsistent to say the least. What are the Fred Miranda profiles for the D-30 for and are they PS actions. I am kind of lost as to where these profiles reside and when to call them up and how. I here all the talk about sRGB, RGB and so forth but am not sure what it all means and how it affects the final product. Will this affect my printer profiles or is this just for veiwing in PS6?
