Still sorting through the mountain of pictures, but so far I like these. It's probably no mystery the Audis and Ferrari are my fav :). These are all unpshopped as I don't have it on my laptop. Just cropped/resized as necessary. Feel free to comment/critique.

Yeah no kiddin! In the full res version you can clearly make out the "TDI Power" marking on the back flaps of the R10...it's definitely one of my fav shots I've ever captured!

Rebel XT and Sigma 100-300 f/4 handheld. It was my first day shooting with it and I'm *really* pleased with it! As you can see, when I actually got the focus point on the car and panned appropriately it's tack sharp. I intended to buy Ian's 300 f/4L IS but had some unfortunate expenses come up and couldn't get it. Found a deal I couldn't pass up on the Sigma so I took the chance on it. I just picked up the rXT fairly recently as well to replace my 10D. While I like the quality of the images out of the rXT, I don't enjoy using it nearly as much as I did the 10D. I sorely miss the wheel on the back...I'm sure it'll just take some getting used to. I don't like the size of the rXT much either. I've got a grip on it, but it's still rather small and uncomfortable in my hands.
As for a tc, I ordered one the 1.4x last week but of course it didn't arrive in time. I'm sure it'll get here Monday....2 days too late!

Cool shots. Really like the gallery too. It reminded me. What ever happened to the Slipknot Concert Girl?

Heh yeah I've got a couple somewhere. I generally snap a couple pics of them every year. They're somewhere in the group I haven't gotten to yet.

Nice shots - excellent quality, not completely sure about the cropped in ones, they are certainly a bit different, what are you trying to show with that style?

Top quality shots! How long were you there? 12 hours of racing should give you a lot of time to take A LOT of shots.

Thanks Brandon, we always have lots of pictures taken of the cow herd, but I never see them. Would love it if you could post them!
With warm udders,
Hal
