late afternoon sun brought this jumper out:

interested in the diffused 430ex looming over his head.

Those spider are so cute, lovely shots .

How big was it RM ? ...

They are quite small - I think it's Marpissa Muscosa of which species the females grow to about 10mm max. I would guess this had a body about 6mm long.
Most common UK species might be The Garden Zebra, Salticus scenicus 5-7mm.
You cant believe everything you read on the Web - one site states boldly that there are four British species whilst another gives a checklist of 54 British species!
