Trying to take pictures and transfer them from the camera using the included cord that came with the 20d from the camera to the computer ( actually 2 computers ) with no luck, from a microdrive. It wont transfer the files. I can only view 2 pictures, theres over 500 pictures on it. I deleted one picture, tried to delete the other but it doesnt allow me to. The little yellowish/orange light stays on next to the dial even after turning the camera off.
Suggestions / Remedy ?

Battery is full, and Im not using the canon software. Just going into "my computer" and then going to the Camera, and then transfering the pictures/folders onto the harddrive, but with no luck. I tried started the computers, took the battery out of the camera. Ive hit a wall.

Save yourself time and grief. Get a card reader.

I think it's time to get a mac!!!!! Seriously though, i would get a card reader. Sometimes windows based machines have a hard time reading and tranfering files from the camera. With a card reader you should have no problems. Good luck!

That has absolutely nothing to do with it. Mac or PC, people have problems with both.
