What a day! A cold biting wind was blowing across the Norfolk circuit on Saturday, but there was plenty of action around to help stop the shutter finger freezing solid.

We arrived mid morning to just in time to catch the last few minutes of the Superstock testing and within a thirty minute period we saw two riders taken away on back boards. From what I understand both were ok.

Shot 1: James Haydon and Billy McConnel making the most of Russel Bend

Shot 2: Michael Howarth "having a moment" with Dean Thomas on the first few feet of the Senna Straight. This didn't surprise me seeing the speed and angle each rider took the Russel Bend.

Firstly, it's good to hear the 2 riders taken away in the Ambulance were ok. I was on the opposite side of the track from where most of the Photographers were camped and it looked like the bike landed on top of 1 guy. As always the Marshalls & Medics did an A1 job. Russell bend got more than it's fair share of victims on saturday...

I like that 1st shot. Getting more than 1 bike in a shot was a real challenge as it was only a test day.

I learned 1 thing. White lenses may well reflect heat, but they get damn cold too

I've been in the situation of the chap in the 2nd shot... didn't like it. Nice capture... keep at it.

I wish I could afford a white lense lol! I'll keep on dreaming for now.

Thanks for the comments though! I've only been doing this for 10 months...and have 5 events under my belt. Bit of a learning curve!

PS were you in a white car by any chance?

It was a bit harsh! At least he was in a good enough state to show his dissatisfaction after the event!

Yeah I think I saw you at the end of the Senna Straight during the Supersport testing. Was a good day other than the weather. I've been to two bike events before (BSB @ Silvertsone and Brands), but my first test day. To be honest I think I preferred it as there's a little more freedom without the crowds.....and you don't miss the racing due to looking through 300mms'
