Hi Ian,

Like that first shot a lot, nice composition. Like the angle of shots #2, #3 and #4 as well.

Cheers,

Simon.

In agreement with Simon. First shot is a corker!

Love the first one Ian. Isn't S300 USA the car Subaru ran in the States on the failed attempt to get our colonial brethern to take up rallying? I seem to recall it was held somewhere in "Deliverence" territory.

When i look at the Pirelli car, does it look like the front snow tyre is flat?

Thanks Simon, perched on top of a hill with the 300mm on, the last ones were shot quite a bit below road level with the 70-200

Thanks, just trying something different, that slope was incredibly slippy as I tried to drive up it the night before and failed

It is, Petter Solberg did some demo runs in it in the states, S500 USA & S400 USA were the cars the late Mark Lovell used in the SCCS Pro Rally series in 2001 & 2002

I don't think either of the 2 cars with Pirelli on the front had punctures, it may just be the angle of the shot.

Thanks for the comments

Looks cold, probably was.

VK 3 in now on his '04 Focus WRC, this is his '03 Focus WRC which he was using because the new car was in Spain for the Catalunya rally this weekend. The 03 one is up for sale if you're interested ;)

I could tell you my thoughts on it, but the swear filter would ruin the post :)

Thanks Ian :) I was only expecting to get the three from the South Downs Stages in (which they didn't credit me for  ) and perhaps a couple from the Wyedean. It was quite a surprise when I saw the spread.
