I'm new to this forum, took this with my old S200 - reminds me of a travel guide picture.

Comments welcome.

I like your picture. The yellow wall is pleasing, and complements the yellow bike. Why is he pushing? :)

I could see that on a travel guild, or a vacation planner guild for Mexico, or a TV comercial for vacationing in Mexico. I wonder if you could sell it to such a business?

Thanks for your comments.

This was taken in Izamal, every building in the town is this colour, to do with sun worship I believe. Its a striking place.

You really hit the nail on the head capturing the colours here. Well done.

Where is Izamal?

Izamal is in the Yucatan Peninsula - east of Merida. It was very hot that day and the yellow buildings probably add to the heat. The guy in the picture looks like he has been in the sun every day of his life.

We met a very animated local who told us to go to Izamal, his exact words were: "You go with aggression and you leave feeling calm".

The Yucatan makes for a fantastic holiday, it has everything - cannot recommend it enough.

I've never visited Yucatan. This is a good pretext to go. Thanks weisdaclick ;)
