Canon s40 and S45

Has anyone tried using the S45 firmware on an S40 to see if the bogus 30 second video limit is removed???

Would love to know...or if someone has the firmware I will try it.
Another alternative is to DL it from the Canon site using your S45 Serial number and maybe e-mail it to me....

For god sake, never try that!!!
You will end with a unusable camera, in the hypotetical case you can make the upgrade!
The S40 uses a different processor than the S45. Using tha S45 firmware is like try to boot MacOS in a PC!
