Went to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles today, there is a butterfly pavilion and we are doing a story on it for the newspaper. These are a few of my outtakes. What a wonderful opportunity to photograph a wide variety of butterflies!

This guy is rather beat up, his wings are torn and shabby but his colour was still wonderful.

I guess that server doesn't permit embedding?
I was able to follow the links independently tho - great shots, beautiful colors.

A return trip to the butterfly pavilion netted a few keepers, including this one.

Thank you! She rarely held still enough to get in focus but a couple of shots at least part of her is sharp. :)
