Haai All Enthousiast out here,

I went to the zoo last week and shot this Lazy Lion.
Let me know what you think of it.
Enjoy, B4N, Eric.

Seems like a great shot to me. Is the color what you recall ?

I "think" that I miss a bit of a gleam in the eyes -- but that is all!

Well done.

Haai Howie,
Thanks for nice comments.
Maybe the gleam is missing because the Lazy Lion was lying in the shadows of the trees, so there was no direct sunlight onto the lion.

Eric
Your picture is excellent for a zoo shot.

The eyes are clear enough for me.

What I would really like to see is the zoo artefacts cloned out. Quite easy and would be a big improvement.
Also the end of the tail is a bit too close to the side of the image.

This lion is awake. That is something. They sleep about 18 hours a day.
In the wild this fellow would look much less well groomed
and would probably have scars on his face from fights with
other male lions.
His neat appearance spells Zoo or Circus.

Good shot

Haai Eland, thanks for nice comments.
I tried to blur the background as far as i thought i would be acceptable, but maybe that wasn't far enough for you. What should i clone into the background ??
I cropped the lion out of a bigger picture, but my intention was to keep the proportion to make it 640_480

You don't know how much time i spend on this lion to brush his hair and fur, i put him up camouflage-makeup to hide his scars and scratches, i took him on a course for portret-photography so he knows how to lay down and be awake at the right time and some more things, so i think the lion did a great job here.
No, Just kidding here. LOL.

Thanks again, Eric.
