Hi all,
I have a Powershot S40 camera and I'm having a real tough time getting it to connect.
I've installed the latest usb/twain drivers from the cd, and all the necessary software. But when I plug in my camera, win2000 just finds an "unknown" usb device. No camera appears in the scanners/cameras menu under control panel and none of my programs can see the camera.
I had no problems with win2000 on my old computer, but I did just upgrade to a new computer with USB 2.0... could that be an issue?
I'm at wits end here guys, and canon's "troubleshooting guides" are NOT helpful... I've already full uninstalled and reinstalled different versions of the usb/twain drivers and I always get the same result; "unknown usb device"....
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Edit: Am I going to have to buy a god damn flash card reader?!?!?!?
