Very nice.
I wish that the ducks were just a wee bit sharper, lad, but otherwise fine work.
But it might just be the minification for this post. Could you post a full sized crop of one of the ducks in the water?
A pint fer ya.

Hi Martin
First impression ?
I like mood pictures and this is one.
Maybe it's from living where I live but blue skies and bright
sunshine are boring to me, most of the time.
I wouldn't expect this pic to be needle sharp.
Wouldn't want it to be. It would kill the mood.
There is a question in my mind about the flying bird.
It's not easy to identify and in a soft scene like this I don't want
to spend time trying to decide what bird it is.
Anyway it's not in a graceful attitude and I find it distracting.
Personally I think the pic would work better with the flying bird removed.
Then it's a tranquil hazy scene with trees water and ducks. I could live with that.
Well done

I'd have to agree with Hal on this. After reading his posts I can definately see the same. I might even go a bit farther and clone the ducks to the right of the photo so that they are swimmimg into the frame and not leaving. The great thing about cloning where there's water is there is vertually no trace of cloning at all. Then flip the image so they are swimming from left to right.
Just an added thought.

Agree with the comments above. There are 2 subjects: the flying bird going to the right and the ducks going to the left. They do not combine well.
Mood of the shot is very nice though.

I know you don't want to hear it yet again, but the flying bird is definitely detracting. Otherwise I like this a lot.

Stunning photo. I wish you would crop out the flying bird. Sets a timeless mood.

Yes, remove the flyer, but also flip the swimmers so that they can swim into the picture, instead of out of the picture.
