Just got a IR filter for my 50m F1.8 and have just been out to test it but most of the images seem out of focus, anyone got some good tips for using these filters?

Focus manually using markings taking into account the IR shift marking, shoot on a tripod, use small apertures for bug DOF and shoot IR film (coz it looks nicer)

IR and Underwater are the only times I would shoot film now....
