that is a loaded question...I think you best be doing some research on this forum and see what others have said about selling your digital negatives and then do another search for pricing...
Cheers,

Whether you sell images on a CD or prints is your business decison, but if you sell only prints you will probably lose some potential customers. That may be okay, if you have enough business, or the customers you lose are the tightwads who want to buy 300 images for $50. But alot of your competition will be selling the CD.

In searching for a pro wedding photographer myself, and also assisting a few, I have found that there seem to be 2 distinct groups of photographers with a few grays in between the black and white.
1) Low end - Either they are just starting out and don't feel they can charge much for their work, their work is mediocre, or they just rely on volume of sales. Prices are usually low. They don't include albums, except for the possibility of a proof album with 4x6s. Willing to sell a CD with all images for around $150-300 on top of your budget package.
2) Middle ground - Good photographers who at least have an idea of their worth or have been around a while and built up a decent clientelle. The "budget package" is around the second highest price of the low end photographer's packages. Packages include prints and optional albums in higher end packages. They are charging enough and including enough in their packages to make the day worth their while. CD of images are available for $150-300 because the photographer is not relying on making all their money on reprints.
3) High end - Usually either very good photographers, or photographers who are very good at marketing themselves to persons who have too much money and aren't picky enough about good photography. Low end packages start at $2000. A base album and some prints are included. Reprints are usually on the expensive side and are relied on for more profits. The really good photographer will have enough "wow" images to sell the extra prints. If these guys even offer a CD, it is at a high enough cost to offset the reprints (say, starting at $300+).
Yes, the above is probably a gross generalization, but it is the trend I have found with wedding photographers in my area. Take the information for what it is worth. Hopefully some will find it helpful.
